Kaisercraft Secret Admirer - Pages 2 Scrap DT reveal

In January I had the pleasure of playing with Kaisercraft's Secret Admirer collection for Pages 2 Scrap, and what a beautiful collection it is! Full of feminine pink and peach colours mixed with turquoise and a bit of black and white. I've got 5 layouts and a mini album to share with you this month, starting with this one of my grubby daughter.  :)

I've used some dark navy cardstock to contrast with all those lovely bright pinks. How sweet are those birdcages? A few of the small doily shapes were die cuts and others I fussy-cut from the 6x6 paper pad.

Next is a layout using all the non-pink parts of this collection; the owl and lace die-cuts are so sweet, and I have added a few Kaiser flowers to this one to give it some extra texture.

As you can see this layout is really three dimensional; I've used 1/2inch thick stacks of foam tape to raise up the photo. Planning on giving this one to my mum when it's not needed in the store anymore.  :)

This layout is another feminine one using quite a few of the die-cuts and some Kaiser flowers which I've misted yellow with Chalkboard mist. The big teal coloured bloom is from Prima. I've added a little washi tape and white paint to add some layers and used the Secret Admirer stamps from my kit to give some depth to the background.

I've also torn and rolled some edges to show the pretty pinstripe back of the paper, and used pink twine to thread it together.

This one is a more modern take on this collection using white cardstock - I've used one of the Secret Admirer papers down the centre with some stitching to finish it off.

There's plenty of die cuts and stickers from the collection on this page along with the stamps from my kit and some blue Dylusions ink and turquoise paint to mess it up a little.

For my final project I wanted to share this little mini book I've made to journal about the changes to our garden since we moved into our new house over a year ago.

I've used a Basic Grey mini album and lot of sheets from the Secret Admirer 6x6 pad to cover each page. The front cover features a WoW flourish covered in copper embossing powder and ink, along with a few die-cuts from my kit.

I've left most of the inner pages pretty simple to showcase those lovely papers!

A couple of die-cuts and a photo on each page was really all that was needed.

I really need to push myself to journal sometimes so I made an effort with this one to write something substantial about each photo!

Hope you enjoyed looking at these projects as much as I enjoyed creating them! Also you might like to check out some of the AWESOME classes and workshops coming up at Pages 2 Scrap... check out the website here.
